GATHER接頭平面設計使密封面不泄漏，易于接合斷開。溫度介于-60 C和+315 °C非泄漏斷線：沒有破壞環境的人或因泄漏的液體或氣體的危害退出共享無耦合操作：沒有空氣或灰塵進入管道系統入口能力（清潔就地）：嵌入式無殘留的清潔產品更換密封在與耦合仍然存在插座所有的連接類型：螺紋類型眾多，軟管接頭，法蘭，特殊的連接不銹鋼，哈氏合金特殊類型：維護與管斷裂

When connected the sterile coupling is sealed to the outside. When the coupling has been disconnected care must be taken to prevent the exposed valve end faces from being touched. To increase the safety of the system these faces may for example be cleaned with ethanol and briefly allowed to dry before the coupling is re-connected. Moreover, the coupling may be equipped with touch guard and protective caps.
